Thank you - I will be doing that. Just being in the pool with it under the water seemed to help yesterday. I've lashed it with brufen gel too. Pool will taste lovely lol!

Good morning fellow members a lovely morning and it is a 'Hannah all day' day today.

Hannah arrived grizzling with her poor exasperated mother and promptly fell asleep on my knee When she wakes up we can go out in the garden with Chloe and do some watering.

Enjoy your day everyone

Morning all - sorry I am unable to concentrate on much - I have put up a thread about Pereg so I hope you understand why. I will try to read through when I can.

Aw thanks for the good wishes. She doesn't usually like to miss school.

Jenny - good luck for your son for the interview. I hope he does not experience any 'beardism', or should that be ''tashism'?

Loki was in a mad mood this morning - he grrr'd most of the way to the field then ran up the middle barking at me to throw things for him. Then when we got to the top, he sat down and refused to move. I walked off and he still sat there - all I could see were two ears sticking up over the crops. Stubborn!

Hope your "gut instinct" proves wrong Helena. Sounds intriguing about DAVE. Good luck with his neck scan.
I hate having to look for a posh frock as well. I don't do posh!! So hope you both find something today. It's cutting it a bit fine now isn't it.
It's hard on the children when parents who split up can't / won't agree on their care. Good on Mark for fighting to get access.
Good luck at the Market Rosebud. Hope you sell everything.

OH is going to town this morning to meet the local press for a photo shoot about that plaque he has been organising to get repaired on the old TA hall. I'm just nipping to town for a few bits so nothing exiting on here again. My leg is much better this morning. I still have a bit of trouble going upstairs - it feels as though its going to give way if I put any weight on it but compared to weekend I can live with it.
Have a lovely day everyone
Hi Lynne Glad to hear that leg is a lot better this morning, don't overdo it around those shops will you, especially if you walk around loaded with heavy bags. I expect you're lugging them around now whilst I type knowing you

H, that is a worry!!hopefully it'll be sorted. Looks like we're having a lovely day talk soon xx
Morning Eileen, yes glorious day here too, I've just had a glorious 2nd walk in the sunshine, except that I was in the woods where it's all cool and shaded.

Have packed a ton of assorted drinks, Kindle, sunlotion and even pumped up an inflatable to doss about on the water down there.

It's the same in the UK - pay for initial specialist appointments or any scans etc will get you along quicker. Here in Cyp I pay for everything but it's nowhere near as expensive as in the UK. Regarding your 'protection' - if you want 'washable' stuff - can't you just get terry nappies and rubber pants like for babies whose mums don't want disposable (but of course in bigger size?)
Good luck today with the work stuff Rosebud. Your constant descriptions of the weather, the zillions of bitey things, the natives, health provision et al has me now decided that I am not so keen to visit the land of my forefathers after all! I detest bad weather and detest midges, mozzies and any other 'flying entymological species' that bite or sting! I am one of those skin/blood types they are very attracted to. And lots of bites is misery.

Sorry to hear about Lily. As for dress hunting - come and sit on the step with all the others of us here who don't really 'do' formal dresses and have hell finding them!

Custody and access stuff is horrible. It's the kids that suffer when stupid parents use them as bargaining tools or weapons to make the absent parent 'suffer'.

Sorry to hear your little girl isn't well. My little girl texted me yesterday to say 'mummy I am poorly' (just that - no elaboration) turns out she didn't get home until 2.30am the day before and had jammed her toe under her bathroom door - oh my 'little girl' is 25yrs old!

Heartstopping when your 'kids' are going for interviews isn't it? I think it's worse than when it's yourself! Good luck to him and shame about the tash - I believe facial hair has been proven to reduce chances at interview (along with a lot of other things like ginger hair, short stature, strong local accents, etc.) He can explain to them it's for his 'hobby' though. Having a hobby is a big plus point (as long as it is not an extreme or dangerous sport!)

congrats to Taz!
Good luck to you at the docs.
Leylandii - argh. I don't envy you trying to cut it down a bit - I hate the things anyway. They've even introduced them over here.
AGMs - yuk
Committees -yuk

My 'frozen shoulder' is a bit better today and I'm being careful with it. Well I am about to hoik my shedload of stuff to the pool now and remain there until I see my legs have turned 2 shades darker! I am NOT wearing tights for the wedding. No way. Hate the things.

*Lovely neighbours below are here again and have said if I can hear banging and sawing it's because he is making me ANOTHER FLY SCREEN! Woo hoo! Doin' the happy dance! Lucky me!
Morning Pat, I see you're suitably attired again, chilling out by the pool catching some rays, it'll do that shoulder the world of good too I would have thought. You don't half know how to enjoy yourself over there don'tcha!

Hope all poorly people and doglets get better soon
Gentle hugs to Pereg n Malka
Hope everyone has a good day
Take care stay safe
Hugs to anyone who needs them today sorry if I missed anyone xxxxxxx
Morning Norma, I'm not surprised you're tired today, hope the washing up didn't keep piling up on you last night, and I hope you won't get stitched up for it again. I would willingly swap my pork chops (well one of 'em!) for your cheese on toast, I can't have it now cos I don't have a grill anymore. This stupid over has a top oven/grill but nowhere to put a bdooly shelf to grill stuff on? There's absolutely NOTHING on the sides of it for anything to slide in there All very odd, but I've now bought a new microwave (having blown the other one up last week) and it has a grill so I might try it tonight with some macaroni cheese all brown and crusted on the top, can't wait.

Helena - no clue what you are bothered about but any evil money worries are misery. So I hope it turns out to be unfounded worry for you.

Glad to hear just about everything else is going well. Seems none of us can have everything right all the time. Why's that dagnammit?

The only thorn in my side today is the infamous Moneth - we had a 'meeting in the lift'. Ain't even worth updating you on this stupid woman's latest verbal garbage. If anything changes I will let you know!
It is a worry, I've currently got £10K floating around in cyberspace somewhere, I just hope it lands where it's supposed to and today would be good. I'm emptying an account where people pay my rentals cos I had a weird enquiry, but couldn't dismiss it, they wanted to book a week, but so far, no address given, but they're paying into my account today, but it just didn't "feel" right if ya know what I mean, and of course, they have my account details, so I'm swiftly emptying it day by day lol!

My Granddaughter got her BA yesterday So we are going to combine her celebrations with hubbys birthday.
I must get on, lots to do today especially making 2 cakes!!
Thanks for the special mention Norma You are forgiven now
Hope you all have a good day and enjoy the sunshine!
Morning Jen, exciting week-end ahead for you then, hope you get something nice to wear that feels good and looks good, but then you'd probably look good in a bdooly bin bag you would!!

Morning Malka, was getting worried about you, but hope everything is going ok now for dear Pereg and yourself.

Hi again Linda, LOL at Loki there, Zena does that, the sitting down, staring at me bit, but that's usually before going off on a complete loony loop, completely bonkers some of these dogs aren't they but we love it, shows how happy they are. Good luck with Carys as the day goes on.

Just had a lovely 2nd walk in the cool woods, cos it's really getting hot out there now without a breeze today. Pork chop is nearly there, can't wait, smells deliscious (I've got 2 actually but I have walked for 2 hours almost today and all UPhill ).

Then a little nanny nap is in order cos I was up at 6 and I want to trim the hedges when I get up and will have to have my wits about me with a lethal weapon like that in my hands. Zena's very good, she knows to go away when I tell her and lie down somewhere safe

Back from my chauffeuring duties. They weren't in there long.
Mark is very impressed with the school and they got the gist that he is the one who makes sure Joel attends events etc.,
He is also on the email newsletter this time so will know all that's going on. For a change.

I had a nice walk with Dillon this morning I am training him left and right in case at some point I decide to try him at carting. He does love learning. I think the treats involved may have a lot to do with it though.
I stopped to watch some crows high up chasing a bird of prey off then another bird of prey came along and there was quite a lot of argy bargy going on. Dillon sat so patiently waiting. Had to give up in the end my neck was aching and it was very bright and hurting my eyes.

Congratulations to your Granddaughter Jenny.
