I've bit the bullet.............

........and have just ordered all my meat for going raw.
I just hope now my freezer can cope with the amount

i've already started giving them both small amounts of chicken, which they both love, and will slowly increase this every day.
the veg and fruit,i know they both love anyway, so no problems there.

i'm just scared at the mo but hopefully once i get used to it, it'll be as easy as scooping commercial stuff!!!

Thanx to Leospride for all her help and not confusing me with percentages( well she did later on )

well i've cleared it out of old food that was lurking at the bottom and its practically empty.

i just hope 110lb of meat will fit now.

i shop for our meat weekly so that will fit in the beer fridge.
(yes OH has his own fridge )

i have been looking for a separte freezer, maybe get one when they are both eating raw everyday.

Is useful to have one for the dog,Ollie has his own and I just about fit it all in I have to order 150lb min when I order.
Good luck with it I have now started making my own dog treats they don't take long are much cheaper I know whats in them and Ollie loves them.

whoo

You know, I brought a second hand chest freezer, for us originally but now its just for the dogs', nearly 5 years ago for 50 quid, right battered looking old thing it is - which is why I keep it in the shed - but its really paid for itself over and above
And I have to keep my beer/wine in the outside toilet but it is nice and cool - well not actually IN the toilet

Don't forget when thawing it out overnight, best do it in a sealed container in cold water ( I find it keeps the smell to a minimum and the water helps to dilute the blood so it doesn't smell too much)

Have fun
