their looks, their adaptability, their nature, their busyness, the way they are on walks, their zest for life, the way they move, the way they love you, can you see it is just pretty much everything about them that is right for us and we really feel we have just the most perfect dogs we could ever wish for.

Not saying the dogs are always perfectly behaved but even in a moment of mischief you have to laugh and love them!

Benjie - OH wanted a GSD but then instead of rehoming the good with everything except rabbits 3 legged one, they rehomed the "good with everything including rabbits" fluffy GSD wannabe.. who isn't good with anything apart from rabbits..

Sadie - not really mine so cant comment.

Louie - OH lost my engagement ring, happened upon a litter - refused to listen to my "con's list" and decided to get him anyway - now I'm hooked on gundogs - even if he is a cross.

Both my crosses have been rescues and accidentally acquired so not chosen for their particular breed cross. I certainly wouldn't own another GSD x Akita and I think it is a ridiculous cross to even exist!

I have chosen my future breed, toller, because I want a gundog, I like the size, I want an active intelligent dog who's keen to train, enjoys toys and dog sports. I also think they are pretty

I got Poppy from a rescue as I wanted a smallish dog that could hold her own with my last dog a gsd x akita and boy did she

I then lost my gsd x and Poppy was desolate without a pal so I trawled the rescues and came upon Kiara a gsd x bc

I like long faced dogs so wanted that look but wasn't particularly bothered about the actual breed of dog as such I am more into their temperament and trainability

Bailey was a complete accident and definatley let my heart rule my head when I was looking through the rescues online for a friend for my mums dog, I just saw him and fell in love completely impractical with the small house and two dogs I already had but . . . . . . you just do dontcha!!

He stole my heart when he leaped off the roof of his kennel, launched himself at the fence screeching his fool head off and grabbed my arm when I went to stroke him
