Lexi - 3 year old female Rottie X Shepherd
Lexi, Rottie x Shepherd, DOB 09 - West Moseley, Surrey
Homing Requirements: Lexi is versatile, her family would serve her well to offer stability and a dog centred life. Good with people, meets dogs well but has chase drive and is very alert to squirrels and cats. Older children no problem.
Her Story: Found stray, abandoned and unclaimed. Nervous initially in kennels hence the pound manager's assessment of her as 'hand shy', but she has actually now settled and is confident. Currently May '12 she has a false pregnancy with 'milk' so has gone into foster to see her through this. Now spayed, chipped and completing her vac course currently.
Advert: Lexi is a real lioness. She is welcoming of visitors and extremely loving in her relationships with humans. She is well mannered when street walking and sitting at kerbs on command. VERY interested in wild life and could catch you unawares as she scans hedges and bushes. Housetrained and not destructive when left. Super, stable large dog. Happy to travel and settle in a car. Unsure whether she could live with another dog ...probably.
Lexi is a large and 'red' ?Shepherd x Rottie. She has that huge appeal of "comfortable with humans" and offers intelligent rapport. She isn't food orientated but enjoys moist nourishment. Soooo lovely, a constant friend.
