Morning Dogsey Daily Thread - Monday

Good morning all Dogsey Peeps

Another grey, dull old morning, but the rest of the week is going to be summer again, or so they've promised us.

Dave went off at 5.30 I think it was, but I soon dropped off to sleep again along with Zena. He's working away five days this week, but that won't make much of a difference to us, the time will fly by as always.

Bev, have a lovely birthday today, I hope there's something special to celebrate it.

Lynn, enjoy having Gorden home this week, I'm sure you'll find lots to do and I won't interrupt with a phone call, cos Gorden won't understand how we can talk for nearly 2 hours will he

Haven't been keeping up, but hope everyone is fine today along with the doglets, and enjoy your Monday.

Morning Helena. I have told him about our marathon calls. but being a man no they don't understand do they how we can talk. It is very wet here and not a nice day to drive over to Essex to meet my friend for lunch we are meeting as it between our birthdays. She also has a lot to tell me so 21/2 -3 hours will go very quickly as it always does.
Morning Bev a very happy birthday. Glad you are feeling better and enjoy this evening.

Morning Helena and all,

A grey morning here too, with the promise of more rain today. Its actually just stopped so I'm going to zoom the dogs out as soon as I've finished this.

No plans today .... just the 'norm'.

Helena Enjoy your walk and whatever else you end up doing today
Bev So pleased you are feeling human again and it couldn't happen on a better day. Enjoy your day and evening
Lynn Have a lovely day meeting up with your friend. As you say the 3 hours will fly by ..... time always goes so quickly when you are having fun. Safe journey.

I hope any poorly members or dogs are feeling better today. See you all later.

Morning everyone

Helena - I hope your back has now recovered from all the lifting, van change-overs etc. Are you going to take it easy today? You always seem to be on the go!

Bev - Happy Birthday! Your evening sounds interesting although not quite my cup of tea but I am sure you will enjoy yourself.

Lynn - have a good time with your lunch date with your friend.

- Still nice and warm here today but rather windy and my door keeps slamming shut. I must find something to wedge it open as I rather like the breeze that is blowing through the bungalow. Only problem is that it means no cooking on the hob as the wind blows the gas out all the time, so I had better get my induction hob out. Either that or keep the kitchen window closed all summer, which is not really a Good Idea!

Hope all poorlies are better today - and that everyone has a good week.

Morning to everyone who popped in whilst I was out walking in the rain

Very quiet up along the top, only saw the lady with the 2 pointers and I thanked her for telling me about that lower path and she said I was very brave, which I am of course

It was drizzly when we set off, decided to go a bit further today because of yesterday's short walk, and just as I got back to the car park, it really chucked it down and has done ever since I got back, so I think I timed that one just right.

Zena's busy tucking into her kong which I've stuffed with some of yesterday's beef leftovers and hopefully, she'll sleep a bit this morning whilst I get on with the ironing.

Just been having a quick skim through yesterday's and Eileen, I'm loving those shoes, and that colour is definitely the in colour for Spring, so well done for finding such a nice pair in it. You might even come up to hubby's eye level in those babies Can't wait to see these new dresses, cos I couldn't find anything, not even in Wallis which is normally good for a nice dress. Please remember to take some pics for us if you can.

Lynn enjoy your catch up with your friend, but such a shame about this drab old weather we've got today.

Bev, glad to hear you're feeling so much better and I can't wait to hear all about tonight's outing, something that I love too. They do a ghost walk at Battle Abbey, just up the road from me, but everytime I go to book it, it's always full up. Must try harder this year.

Mandy sorry to hear about your poorly daughter, hope she gets better later.

Jenny, you'd be wise to get out early cos it's going to get a lot worse this afternoon. Enjoy your soggy walk, but once you're out and wet who cares really

Wassup Jen?? Not like you Hope it's nothing serious, maybe just that you're feeling all bleugh with that cold of yours.

Now, I have ceilings to paint, walls to paint, but can I be bovvered......nah! I'm going to have a potter day at home, change the beds, do some ironing and tidying up and I've got bangers and a jacket potato for lunch and I'm going to make some tomato gravy with vinegar, sounds strange, but it's fab!

I love being indoors when it's raining outside, especially if I open the back patios and hear the rain on the conservatory roof, but then I am a bit strange

I'll pop back in later when I've done a bit.

Morning all, not feeling too bad at all really. The gums on the left side the last place the teeth were removed is still tender and has to be kept clear. I have just cleaned my teeth again and keep swilling with salt water.

Nippy Jen, hope you will soon start to feel much better, hope Brian is ok now and can look after you a bit.

Lynn hope you enjoy your trip to Essex to lunch with your friend. Hope Dillon kept his second tea down last night.

Helen, hope you back is beginning to feel better today, take it easy if you can. Hope Zena is ok.

Bev. Do hope you have a lovely day today and that tonight's spiritual meeting is a great success, I wonder who the medium is? Many Happy Returns of the day!

Mandy, sorry Lauren is poorly hope she feels better soon. God bless.

Malka, sounds as though you have nice weather there and I hope Pereg is doing well.

Jenny, I hope you got out and back with the boys before the rain starts again. Take care.

Have a great day everyone and also anyone who has Posted while I have been posting. Take care everyone, God bless.

Raining here this morning as well, but not too cold. Have got stuff to do so will concentrate on that, if I clean the kitchen floor then the girls will walk all over it later on when we go out and it will be dirty again, will leave that till later I think.
Sounds lovely where you are Malka, can you get one of those wedges to put under the door to stop it blowing shut, or even put something in front of it if you can manage it, I know it must be difficult for you.
Gordon the reason Jasper is different to my other dogs is that he comes from a litter I bred with a GSD x Malamute to bring some of the founder breeds back in to diversify the bloodlines, as there is far too much inbreeding going on in my opinion, and people are too lazy (they can't say they had no idea because I am always banging on about it, and am not popular with my opinions) to go outside.
So a friend and I bought our own a few years ago, health tested him when he grew up and he is available for use to anyone that wants
Many Happy Returns Bev, will look for your birthday thread
