My New Addition

Since losing Ozzy (my Chinese Water Dragon) I have had an empty Vivarium sitting there..still plugged in (as its connected up to the other two)..

I decided to phone the SSPCA and see if they had any snakes needing a home..so they did a homecheck this morning and I picked up this little guy this afternoon...he's soooo tiny..

He's a corn snake and he came with the name Frederick..but I can't have that!! so it needs changed..

Here is the little gadge himself

No idea am afraid..

I would guesstimate at a yearling..not much older..

He has been with them since November last year..and was brought in with 4 or 5 sheds still left on his tail!!! So he was very lucky the sheds hadn't chopped him in half..He does have a scar where they were but its not very noitceable due to the pattern and coloration..

He is a little sweetie though..He is in a small plastic tank inside the viv as I think he might get lost in there...I plan to get him a friend to share with..

A friend has suggested I call him Kellogg I love it LOL

He's still hiding but has been out to say Hello once or twice..he's soo tiny compared to Lily & Monty!

How are Tango's eggs doing?? (maybe if they hatch I could buy a bubba off you to keep him company)

Thanks T..he is adorable!

Still being called Kelloggs(cornsnakes) at the moment..LOL..

He is an okeetee corn snake..I was trying to think of something that would go with his "type"..

Julie..I lost him in January..to be honest we are lucky to have had him so long...he was in very poor state when he came to us and it wasn't something that he could be "brought back" from.. He went for months without being fed or without calcium and without UV light..so he was on borrowed time..but we had him for 4 and a bit years so he was happy for a while
