I'm just planning on having my first ever tattoo of my old Boy (Collie X) that I lost two years ago ... its a tattoo for me and no one else but I want to be able to see it, any suggestions as to best (least painful) place to put it?

I was thinking either on my arm or on my heart (chest ish) (as thats where he will always be) which will make me cry the least?

Good Luck with your's Sarah27, Let me know if it hurt! I'm hoping to have mine done in the next few weeks, as a birthday pressie to myself

Hi Skjerstad, love your tattoo, your daughter is very talented!

Kcjack - totally second you on the foot thing, I have 7 tattoos and have one on the top of my foot - it was the only one I came out thinking ARGHHH sore!
Love your tattoos, especially your foot one

DippyLeo - how about your hip?

Deedee xx

you can buy it at boots and its called 'ametop' but not all tattooists let you use it because it can stop the tattoo ink from going in.
