oh Janet, I am so so sad for you and for Paxton, you never know, perhaps he was in pain, or he was uncomfortable and just something triggered something for him.

Its very sad that they felt no choice but to PTS.

Thank you for your kind replies, they really do mean a lot.....it is sad he was not given a chance, they have so many dogs waiting for a home, those which show agression are considered not suitable for rehoming.

Thank you again, I felt awful when I was there today, i can't believe I will never see his daft smiley face running at me in the field ever again. I would of had him myself if I did not have the Tobester....

Oh I am so sorry Please, remember that you gave him lots of love in his last days. Always a sad situation when stressed dogs with poor backgrounds in kennels are put down for behaviour issues, such a tricky one. If only there were more people like you to show them the love and understanding to get them through.
