This is a first - Bogie turns down food!

If there was an olympics for dogs, Bogie the cocker would win all the gold medals for eating absolutely anything, the more revolting the better.

Yesterday though, my husband dropped a big dollop of jelly on the floor, and Bogie could not be tempted to clear it up for me! Is is because it doesn't smell enough?

It's put me off jelly a bit - it's a bit worrying if even Bogie won't eat it!

Must be all that sugar in it - Bogie knows it's not good for you

Funnily enough, it was sugar free! (My husband is diabetic).

Mind you, whatever substitute they use is probably worse than sugar. He must have more sense than I thought.

Saccharine is toxic to dogs and the clever ones will avoid it naturally so if the jelly was sweetened with it, your lad was being very clever
