Hospital on thursday, considering another op!

Well I have my next check up at the hospital on thursday at which point I will decide whether or not to have an op to remove the wires from my knee.

When I was in hospital I asked whether or not I would have to have them removed, and the doctor said only if I wanted to. At which point I though "excellent! no more ops for me!" Now however I am seriously considering having the wires removed as I can feel them underneath my skin (yuck :smt078 ) and it is making me feel really ill everytime I touch my knee. I just know that when the time comes that I can kneel down again I am going to be able to feel them. If I do decide to have the wires removed they will manipulate my knee whilst I am under aswell to help with the physio.

Obviously I don't really want another op but I am starting to think I will have no other option I just can't stand feeling these extra bits! I won't be able to go back in the hydrotherapy pool afterwards but my physiotherapist has said that there is no reason why I can't carry on the physio as normal afterwards.

Thursday will be the decider! I just hope I make the right choice!
