Hi all. as some of u know, i live with my boyfriend at his parents house.
anyhow, his parents about a year ago rescued a one yr old yorkshire terrier called benji. They got him from a rescue up in Liverpool. His original home was with this old lady who had kept him in a cage all his life, except to let him out for the toilet. she got rid of him cos he was too boistrous. That is all we knew.
Anyhow, benji is now two..
He gets on great with indie most of the time, when hes in the mood they will run around the garden together like mad things. Hes very affectionate, all he wants is cuddles all day and he always greets u when u get home.
Unfortunetely, my bf's parents dont know the first thing about dogs and seem to want a perfect dog without any hard work.
He barks at the door when someone walks past or something suspicious, which they dont like of course.
Lately, hes been very growly and snappy, they wont take him to vets to see if its something wrong medically.
Anyways, the whole reason they are getting rid of him is because he bit the 3 yr old nephew that lives here. Hes done this a couple of times. Nothing serious.

Hed benefit being in a home with no young children really. And as an only dog would probably benefit so he is not fighting for attention. Although he does love other dogs and had no problem with indie coming into the picture.

Located in the Surrey area. He will be taken to the RSPCA at end of month if a home isnt found. If he wasnt adopted by us, he was due to be PTS cos he couldnt find a new home.. so id like to try and find him a home b4 he goes to rspca.

Hes up to date with injections and worming. He has no fleas and has been neutered.
He can be boistrous, just so you know, but will more than happily sit on ur lap all evening. If ur the kind of person who doesnt allow pets on the sofa/on ur lap, then hes probably not for u.

hes a very big yorki.. measuring at about 13".
