You should do an allergy test first - just dab a bit on the inside of the child`s wrist. If the skin goes red at all, wash off immediately and don`t paint the child.
For Halloween you really only need white black and red.
Don`t paint the whole face red - it stains and leaves the child looking like a boiled lobster for 3 days.
Apply the paint with a damp sponge (dab, don`t wipe) or a soft paintbrush.
(I doo a lot of face-painting!)
I use snazaroo too, the best bit is there is no animal testing, so you can advertise them as cruelty free. Paper tiger used to sell them and all fancy dress shops do.

I finally got some snazaroo face paints after a walk to our local fancy dress shop.
