The price of Chips!!

For the first time in ages and ages I had a portion of chips tonight, £1.40!! How much are they round your way?

My local chippy sells them for a £1.00 a portion.

We have a part-time chip van. He charges £3.60 for a large fish & chips. A whopper of a fish and a generous heap of chips. We've never asked him for chips on their own, so I don't know what he charges for them

Ares are about £1.30 but again my bill normally has £15.00 on top as they are never bought on there own.

Chip butty £1.00 i think

£1.10 for a small portion and £1.30 for normal size but the chip shop we get them from has just one Fish and Chip Shop of the year, so they are worth every penny

I think, there is, 80p {small portion normaly the school kids get these at lunch time} £1.00 £1.20 and £1.50 with a chip butty being £1.00 a fish supper the last time I bought one was £5.10 but the chippy in Carronshore is cheaper and better
