This would be my ideal job,but unfortunately there isnt much money in it and tends to be seasonal.

I have landscaped a few gardens for family/friends which is great when handed a blank canvas with a good budget for materials & plants. My aunts garden has to be my favourite-it has a tropical theme with a massive Gunnerra taking pride of place near pond and decking going 1/2 way round it.

As for having a tidy garden with Vegas, its quite simple-i dont leave him out there on his own! Left to his own devices-he digs holes, chews branches...

Hello Steve what a gorgeous garden but can I ask you a question I notice you have a Sundance - do you trim it back or leave it alone.

My Sundance is about 10 years old and is now about 4&1/2 - 5ft high and about 3&1/2ft maybe 4ft around. He "Butch" (I mean what else would you call a Sundance) always grows well and has flowered for the last 3 or 4 years lots of lovely white flowers sometimes twice a year for long periods of time too, and they have a slight scent. And I have new growth top middle and bottom.

I do not want Butch to dominate the garden and smother everything else.
