He does have to go back, but only to have stitches out and see the original consultant. He has to have ongoing physio and be confined to small spaces and he has been widdling all by himself. The vet is really really pleased.

Hi Lynne it is such good news that Ben is coming home .
It may take a while for him to get more control of his bladder , after the catheter and the problems he has had the bladder muscles may have lost a bit of toning so don't be despondent if he doesn't have the best control just now.

Also be prepare for 'good days' and 'not so good days', progress in these situations is often sporadic so if you have a 'not such a good day', again don't get despondent, always remember tomorrow is a new day and holds great possibilities

The main thing is Ben is home xx

Yes, fantastic news, Elaine has said it all for me (and used some graphics I can't find!!)

I know you were worried if he wouldn't be able to pee again but that's all OK so he's well on the way to recovery.

Really made my day

Yaaay fantastic news, I am jumping for joy reading that so can imagine how your feeling.
I bet he will be as pleased to be home himself as you will be to have him and I am sure he will come on much quicker in his own home.
