his is Benn. He is a 7 year old GSD who has had a very sad life. He is castrated and chipped. Benn is not a Many Tears dog but on this occasion we are helping to find him a home. He has sadly been at a boarding kennels permanently for 3 years and throughout his life before this he spent a lot of time boarded whilst his old owner worked. Due to this he lacks social skills and is not good with some dogs. He seems to be good with female dogs but does not like other male dogs. He is very strong on the lead as he has never really been on one, and we are told that he is a bit protective when he is on the lead when other dogs walk past, however he is a extremely friendly to people and there have never been any problems in that respect. He does not do well in a kennel environment and would love to have a forever home. Benn would excel in a home environment with the right people. His new owners would need to be dog savvy and be prepared to spend time working with him. He is clean in his kennel and loves nothing more than to chase a ball or a soft toy. He is very good to groom, is not aggressive with food and loves cuddles. He would do well to be an only dog although in time this could change if he is socialised correctly. We hope that someone has space in their home and in their hearts for this handsome boy.
