Dalmation puppy approx 6 months

SOmeone at school has asked me to ask around and try and help them find a new home for their puppy, he is 6 months max

Dalmation (black i think) pedigree im not sure if he has papers but i will find out

They got him after losing their very elderly dalmation and are struggling with him and the children.

He is about 10 miles outside of Nottingham and they would prefer to rehome him to someone with dalmation experience. Id take him myself but Motley is only 12 months old and I think a dalmation would harrass our other animals, chickens, fancy rats and cats as ive been reading about how strong their hunting instincts are.

Any info on how much/any training he's had?
Dog socialisation skills?

Have they contacted the breeder they got him from?
