Fudge barks at her dentasticks and tries to instigate play. Any ideas?

Fudge barks at her dentastix when she is given it. She places it on the floor in the same place then rolls on it. After this she barks and play bows with it. It is getting a little infuriating but is quite funny too. She then picks it up and tosses it around for a while before finally chewing it up and eating it.

Any ideas why she does this?

she's being a clever collie They can make a game of anything. Sam used to do that with Bonios. Sometimes he'd hide it until we'd gone to bed and throw it around the kitchen. You'd be amazed at the racket a Bonio makes in the middle of the night. You've got to love them

Biff does this with new food treats like that, he doesn't know what to do with them, so he plays with them. In the end I have to break bits of and feed them to him until he 'gets' what it is.

Missy does this too. (all but the rolling part)

I actually find it delightful, because my adult girl is suddenly like a puppy again.

I guess that Fudge is just playing too.

Because its fun!

My mum's twelve year old dog has done this every morning with his shape bisuits ......for the past 12 years.

My 14 week old staff pup does it too.

I love watching them, particularly my mum's dog as he is very delicate when he does it.

I like that....."delightful"....that somes it up. It's delightful because it's their own game, and they are just having fun.
