elbow scores aren't like hips in that they don't have the same range they only go from 0-3 and I wouldnt breed from anything above 1/1 but would have to weigh up the other virtues of any sire and dam that may score higher than that say on one elbow.

Would depend S, whats the dam/sires & any further back, like? Is there a better dog with better elbows that could be used instead & are both elbows equal?
In labs not all breeders do elbows.

Thats the thing when not to many dogs have been scored, you don`t have a lot to work with Not easy is it!

Is it her 1st litter, any elbow probs in any past litters if its not, or in her background?

Here is info from the Kennel Club website hth.....

ABOUT THE BVA/KC ELBOW DYSPLASIA SCHEME
The current BVA/KC scoring scheme for elbow dysplasia (ED) was launched in 1998. Dysplasia means abnormal development, and the degree of elbow dysplasia present is indicated by a grade assigned to each elbow on a scale of 0 to 3 (0 being the best and 3 being the most severe). Only the highest grade of the two elbows is taken as the elbow grade for that dog. The minimum age for elbow grading is one year, and each dog is only ever graded once under the scheme. Advice to breeders is wherever possible to use only those dogs with grades of 0 or 1 for breeding.
