Allergic reaction?

Yesterday about 30mins after returning from a walk sadies lips started to swell, I immediately gave her some piriton as she has a history of severe allergic reactions to bee stings.

I watched her carefully and the swelling went down so I decided not to take her to the vets, however this morning she has what I would describe as eruptions on the back of her neck that are bleeding slightly and her lips have gone quite hard(but not swollen) I have washed her neck with hibiscrub and will be taking her to the vets shortly.

My first thought on seeing these lumps were that she had something on her skin she is allergic to, but she didn't venture far from me on our walk and it wasn't anywhere new.

Any ideas?

Toad, chemical spray (inhaled rather than ingested or direct contact).

Rape is flowering early this year, is that a possibility?

We do walk through a rape field but have done for the past few weeks with no ill affects. I don't think she ate a toad!

Edit: maybe a bee sting to her neck? Would that still make her lips swell? Her last two bee stings were when she tried to eat them... So bad that her airway closed up both times :s

Hope all went well and they were able to sort the problem.
It does sound like a reaction to something.

I was not suggesting she ATE a toad!

They emit a poisonous substance from their skin which can cause a very bad skin reaction.

Could be a bee too.

Been to the vets, by the time he saw her her head had ballooned. Fingers crossed the anti h jab works.
