Bella's new beau

After a long lie in this morning and a bit of a stroll round to see how the 'works' are going. We had a great afternoon. I treated myself to lunch in Flamingo hotel on the beach and decided to go back and get Bella as the beach was nigh on deserted. Apart from this 3 month old DDB cross. Gorgeous but ENORMOUS! She fearlessly took him on and constantly put him in his place and, when he wouldn't give up, she ran into the sea! He wouldn't follow her into the water!

Sun's going down - time to get your lead on and walk home.

We've been out altogether for more than 4 hours today. She is now showered and dried and fed and curled up fast asleep on a blanket. I don't expect to see much of her before her last walk later this evening!

Took this one while I was still in bed and she was giving me the 'is it really time to get up?' look!

And here she is now - ending her day as she started it - curled up on a blanket - it's just the blanket that changes!

Yes he was. They were pestering me for training tips! Lordy when Bella was just 3 months old the only area of training she'd mastered was toilet training! He was boisterous but not a bit aggressive. Bella just kept telling him off - so funny as he is ten times bigger than her we were all laughing our heads off.

Then she decided to show him how FAST she can run! I think he was impressed! He couldn't keep up at all! Then she decided leaping into the sea after stones was more fun than playing with an ankle biting puppy!

I forgot to put the last pic in - took it just now she is curled up on sofa.

Aww handsome pup.

I recognise the 'is it really time to get up?' face. My own pull it quite a lot.

Yes and they look so sweet when they've still got sleep in their eyes don't they? (Belying their true nature of course!)

Blonderosie - she is still well zonked out. Kicking myself now on two counts.

1. Could have taken advantage of her semi comatose state to trim back nails!

2. Idiot I am didn't think about my 'bad shoulder' when I was skimming stones into the water for her. Giving me gip now duh!

That puppy really is big. Only 3 months? My goodness! It is no wonder they were asking for training tips... he is going to be a handful!

I think Bella is probably good for all puppies, she seems no nonsense but in a non scary MiniPin sort of way.
