Loki just took a fit

Was just going to take Loki out for her evening walk and she came running thru to the hall after me, got on her collar but she was acting strangely and then I saw the saliva coming out her mouth and she started shaking then went on the floor. I managed to hold her head and then went and got the rectal diazepam and got it up her back end. It only lasted about 20 seconds.

Gave her ice cream, she ate kibble and half a sachet of JW Turkey and Rice mixed in it and drank loads of water. Got her in here now with her pillows under her and she is sleeping.

It is always a shock to me when she starts them again. Her last lot was 18 November, 7 months so that was quite a while. I just hope she hasn't to go onto an extra doze of Pheno tho.

Closed the blinds as well to keep her in the darkened room. Oh, I do so hope she is not going to get the same amount as last time. She is sleeping now.

Aw how sad she has had one after all this time, I hope it was a one off and that she doesn't need her meds increasing

I hope that this was a one off, I find it so scary watching a dog fitting, so I can't imagine how she felt poor girl.

Oh dear Rose, I hope you're not in for a bad night with Loki, but let's hope it was just a one off and she's sleeping and you're taking such good care of her now as you always do in these awful moments. I would have thought because you got in so quickly with those phoeno's she should be ok, I'll keep everything crossed for you. Hugs for her from us lot and some very special Zena kisses which are sure to send her back off to sleep.xxxxxxxx
