Lovely bike ride today, thought Id share.

We set off early as the forecast was for warm weather. Along the canal and met another "dogseyer" and her friend. Had a chat and set off again.

Went along the canal a couple miles into the Arboretum. Its lovely there, all shady and tree lined.

Went through the arboretum and sat at the side of one of the lakes for a while for the dogs to have a little rest and a drink.

The other "bottomless" lake.

Orey and Breeze having a break.

Started back a different way through the arboretum, and after 6 miles biking we had another little break.

All the gear!! (note the improvisation ) Bottle on right (milk) Breeze will drink that! Phone and biscuits on the left!

Just the last half mile or so along the canal to home.

We did enjoy it.

Looks like a lovely route

that towpath doesn't look very wide for a bike and 2 dogs mind - I'm pretty sure if it was me cycling with mine, I'd have ended up in the canal!

It's nice that you've actually got a nice flat path to cycle on Dawn, I just have grass around here and sometimes, what with those rabbit holes, it gets a bit scarey, plus all those blooming hills!

I'd have loved a bike ride like the one you've just had, and you don't realise just how many miles you eat up do you when you're having fun like that with the dogs in tow, just fantastic!

A bottomless lake hey?! It must end somewhere surely??!!! Lovely piccies of a lovely time you had there, wish I could have joined you

Looks like a great walk and bike ride...I don't go to the canals now as Inka knows how to shove madam in the canal and I worry that I won't be able to get her out lolllll
Orey and Breeze look knackered, but happy x
