Maggie, Patterdale, DOB 31.07.11 - Cliftonville, Kent


Homing Requirements: Maggie is a young Pattie who needs lots of 'employment' and walks to channel her young Terrier energy, ideally living with another dog. She needs a secure garden with exit management and owners who are young at heart and enjoy the outdoor life! Not for cats or small furries. Can get too excited with children in her attempt to play, involve and relate to them.

Her Story:Maggie was bought by a family who had no idea what a Patterdale was in reality, nor what her specific needs would be. She has lived in with 4 young children, a cat and small furries and now that the family appreciate her instincts it’s hard for them to contain her and she isn't getting anywhere near her exercise needs. Maggie is just 1 year old, spayed and vax'd. Still with her family in East Kent.

Advert: Maggie May. Maggie May not! Sadly, Maggie, although loved, is having to be contained far too much and often closed off from the family as she is leaping and nipping as her energy bubbles over. She needs a high exercise regime to begin to channel her energy so it isn't focused too much on human encounter. She is good around other dogs and may live with another who can enjoy her energy as she needs to do. Maggie needs occupation.

Maggie is a pretty Pattie (Black Fell Terrier), with a broken coat which needs regular brushing but little else. She is a happy, but finds it hard to deal with her own energy and in the next year will learn to bring it through within her developing skill set with a family who are there helping her and delighting in her terrier gifts.
