GSD bitch, Scotland

My friend will get a GSD bitch who is spayed that she bred back from her owner (on Sunday). As a result of the dogs owner having a 2/ 3rd child and being unable to cope with dog as well as the children.

Her name is Kya, she is spayed, great with children, 4 year old long haired black and tan bitch.

My friend thinks she is good with other dogs, but she will assess her properly with her own dogs. Owner says she barks at some dogs whilst being on the leash.

She is based in the Glasgow area of Scotland.

She sounds lovely. I hope your friend manages to find a good home for her. Dogs don't seem to be moving in rescue just now

Oh i know it is a nightmare at the moment!

I have already spoken to Gillian from GSD rescue Scotland and she said she will keep her ears open...

If the dog was a male, i would have been tempted. lol

I think that's terrible. Poor dog. She was there before the second and third child - they should've thought about how they would cope before having anymore kids, IMO! My dogs would go nowhere. I don't know how these people can live with themselves. Dogs are obviously not a very important part of their lives. Their loss.

At least they have the decency to take her back to the breeder, that's something I suppose, though it doesn't make it right.

I hope she finds a great new home very soon and has all the love, care and attention she deserves.
