SBT jumping up - can this damage a pup's joints and bones?

I have a 4 month old SBT, and she is fantastic!!

I've heard that when playing with puppies you shouldnt allow them to jump very high up as this can cause damage to their back legs, as their joints and bones are still growing.

Can anyone verify this more please?

Hi Missy, Yes jumping around and running up and down stairs etc can damage growing bones and give them arthritis when they are older. So its best to keep excersise (walking and jumping) to a minumum at the moment until she is about 6months +
