No Insurance

For all our ther dogs we have had Pet plan insurance, this time i decided not to , what i did was opened a bank account for each dog and save an amount every week & it builds up, this money is never touched for any reason only if our dogs need the vets, i find this works quite well,

I don't have pet insurance either - I invest in Premium Bonds instead.

I have 3 Irish Setters and 2 years ago it was costing approx. £50 per month. I now invest the £50 a month in premium bonds and I have a nice little nest egg building and I have won £50 already in the process

Hope it all goes well for you both, my experience is jess my newfoundland who will be 2 in september and so far she has cost £7,000 in vets bills.

I am so glad i have insurance as i don't know what i would have done.

I know i am very unlucky, but my first newfoundland years ago had to have 2 major ops before a year old and i didn't have any insurance. It nearly broke me financially.

I know its a pain paying out every month when you don't claim but i am sooooo glad i took out the policy for jess and for my other i have just increased her policy "just incase". I pay £60 per month

Im so sorry you have been so unlucky, i have to admit if i had to pay that amount out i would be taking it from every account we have and would end up in difficulty, broke and in debt, i must think about this again thanks for information.
