Bridges of Madison County

Well, OH is away till Tues, recorded this film earlier in the week, have opened a bottle or red to warm, guess what I'll be doing this evening (must make sure I have tissues handy!)

It's one of my favourites - does anyone else like it?

(If my Oh looks as craggily gorgeous at 70+ as Clint Eastwood does in that film I shall be a very happy crumblie )

I read the book first then watched the film and the book beat the film hands down, I found the film boring. sorry.

Did you enjoy it then? It's one of my favourites, and never fails to make me cry - definitely a "girly" film - love it!

Yep - I enjoyed it greatly. Haven't read the book so can't be disappointed.

I agree that it's often the case - in fact I'll start a thread on 'great book, carp film' or perhaps something more polite.

I'll do another thread on 'best weepie' too.
