Thank you for your thoughts everyone, they made me well up even though I am trying to be strong.
She loves kongs so I will be making up a special kong for her to eat when the vet comes tonight.
I was watching her sitting in the hall last night as I went to bed and was thinking how tired she looked, I hope I've made the right decision for her

I'm sure you have, if you believe it's the right time, then it's the right time. It'll be hard anytime. I don't know the full extent of what's been happening with her, but I know you care about her best interests, my thoughts will be with you this evening.

Well the vets have just been and I am very dissapointed.

They were told she could be snappy, IMO they came unprepared, said she needed to be taken to the vets for sedation, so she's having to go to the vets which is not what I wanted for her and now her last moments are going to be stressful and scary
I'm here with the others and my parents have taken her to the vets. Goodbye Becka, I'm so sorry, I feel like I have failed you

Oh gosh so sorry to hear this, as if it isn't bad enough without the vets being unprepared. You have so not failed her, you have done your best xxx

Tasha I feel so sorry for you. Such a difficult time and you have been let down by the vet

I'm sure Becka will be relaxed with your Mum and Dad and she will be soon out of her discomfort.
You are being very brave, I am thinking of you

I just don't understand why she had to go to the vets for the sedative and it couldn't have been done here.
