Some people make me sick!

Graham was in the shop yesterday afternoon and, what I can only describe as a p***head, turned up with a big staffie boy and told him he was going to put him down as he didn't want him anymore!! Graham was gobsmacked! So he told him he would rehome him if he wanted (he'd have taken him anyway!). Fortunately he gave him up. So now we've got a beautiful homeless staffie boy in the shop and no home. Then as if by magic..one of our friends turned up and immediately fell in love with him. He'd already said he wanted to get a dog and asked if he could have him. Of course we said yes! No choice really as we couldn't take him with 6 dogs of our own.
Anyway, Graham and our mate came to our house yesterday pm with this most gorgeous boy. He's rather large but oh so docile. Likes other dogs and fell in love with my Coco! Coco rather liked him too!!
So, the now named Milo, has a home! We're supporting him with food etc and advice.
I just cannot believe how people think their pets are expendable like that! But having seent he owner, I think Milo's had a very lucky escape!

Just a cautionary note, have you had him scanned in case he is a stolen or lost dog?

Also be wary if the p***head shows up again demanding his dog back or trying to get money for him.

Oh yes....we haven't had him scanned. To be honest I never thought of it...but will sort that out. I'll take him to the RSPCA shelter to get him checked out. Thanks for that xxx

I hadn't thought about scanning either, good idea
What a lovely boy Milo sounds like, it certainly seems he's had a lucky escape and such a quick home offer! Very lucky!
Hope everything works out with him and he's soon settled in his new home
