Smelly wind - dog not me!

Just wondered, we've had pup on the same diet ever since we got her but recently when she passes wind it smells like something has died in there! We do feed her some treats now and again but not sure if it's this that could be doing it. Any suggestions how to cure it or what is causing it?

We've been suffering aftre the dogs had sprouts on Christmas day so i can sympathise.

Perhaps you could look at some of the foods that claim 'low odour' ?

Talli had really bad stinky guts till we changed his diet, to help his skin problems, he now is on a fish and potato diet.

And the side effect is .. NO MORE STINKY FARTING

arctic.wolf, what skin complaint did he have and what is the fish and potato diet? Is it just as it sounds?

My dog used to stink a lot botty burp wise when he was on dried food but now he is off that he is usually quite pleasant smelling. Maybe a blander diet would help.

Defo the dog although I usually get the blame as I sometimes get a bit funny after eating chicken! Prob too much info!

She's on Pedigree puppy complete at the moment but we mix it up with a bit of water as it slows her down when she eats it. She used to get hiccups as she was wolfing it down too fast!
