you are soooo lucky

my daughter is not riding at the moment after her fall a few weeks back
everytime she gets on a horse now she crys her eyes out
we are giving her time out to see if she wants to do it anymore

Thanks everyone

Lucky Star - Its not such a good idea as you think! When Charlie decides he's bored of the grass he starts taking the tops off my mum's roses... Then i get yelled at! Plus he has an annoying habit of digging holes, he's worse than the dogs!!

Jackie - Thats a shame about your daughter I hope she does get back on! I know the first time i fell off i had to be very seriously persuaded to get back on, but im very grateful i was! I couldnt imagine not having a horse and riding now. I've fallen off so many times that i've learned to land on my feet now! Give her some time and im sure she'll decide she wants to have a go again

He's beautiful Jessica, how big is he? I used to have a horse (well 1 1/2 horses actually, my sister had one, I had one and we bought one between us that we felt sorry for because it was being mistreated

I know what you mean about the Roses , when we used to ride our horses down to my house my Barney used to stick his head as far down as it would go in the privets and make a big head size hole in them my dad used to go mad

He's about 15 hands. Im hoping to get a new one in the next couple of years. Probably about 16.2 and a young one again. I had Charlie when he was 3 and pretty much broke him in myself! He's 12 years old now so thats a long time, bless him!

I've noticed that Charlie only ever seems to eat my mum's flowers when she's stood there watching him.. I swear its just to get me into trouble!
