London Tube?

My daughter is meeting her Dad in London on Thursday, as she is coming from Cambridge to London she can get a train to either Liverpool st. or Kings Cross.............to meet her Dad she has to get to London Bridge and having looked at the Map of London Tube would anyone agree it is much better to get the train to Kings Cross then Northern line tube to London Bridge so no changes for her?

it *might* be quicker from Liverpool Street if she gets a bus or something.... but easier to get lost too...I would send her to kings x just to be on the safe side... I think she can even get the train (not tube) to London Bridge from there....

That would be good to get train Thanks

Have just looked at Rail site re: train from K.X to L.Bridge and it says Thameslink Rail is that within K.X or out of that Station?

Is K.X Tubeline in Main Station?

thameslink should be in the same station as the one she will arrive in.

Tubeline I think is in a different bit but is not too hard to find.

Get her an A-Z if you're worried

You can either take the tube from Kings Cross, or walk to thameslink which is not at Kings Cross but it is around 5 minutes walk away. You come out of the Kings Cross station at the main entrance, then turn left, in fact there are road signs to guide you.

Aw Thanks - Good job her Dad rang her yesterday as I thought she had to get to London Bridge but she has to get to Waterloo! Phew all sorted in time, they are meeting under the Clock in Waterloo at 3'o clock - she told her Dad he had to have a red balloon or a carnation
