I am so so sad, but mostly angry as hell

Just over two years ago, we fostered the brother of our 2 small munsterlanders for 6 weeks while a new "forever" home was found for him. We thought we had found his ideal home, a committed couple, so swore they would address his problems (not huge, just needed a bit of tlc and time). They would take him for classes and yes they would give him the huge amount of exercise these dogs need........ All seemed well and then last week out of the blue they suddenly contacted us and said they needed to rehome him because they were moving, she had got a job, oh.. and they only had one car now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course we took him back, hubby drove a 6 hundred mile round trip to pick him up. His coat is in awful condition, his nails are so so long he is booked into the vet to have them sorted (hubby usually does our dogs, but he is worried about them being so long).

Why ?????????????? grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

ps - he's not moving on this time, he will stay with us in a proper forever home

Poor baby Atleast he's back with you now

Look at it this way, then you won't feel so sad!......They contacted you to take him back, they could've sold him on to someone else, then you'd have known nothing about this poor lad x

You must have been spitting feathers, hon.

Some people just don't deserve a dog.....

People like that make me so cross...I would be fuming too...but at least they contacted you rather than passing him on elsewhere, that would have been unbearable had you found out later on.

I wish you the very best of luck in getting him adjusted to living a normal happy life with you and your dogs xxx

Plonkers! But so good that they got in touch. I`m glad he`s safe now.
Wasn`t JaniceH looking for a small Munsterlander? She couldn`t find any breeders.

Well it sounds like they have done him a big favour really, especially by contacting you to take him back. Some people shouldn't have dogs.... good to know he is safe and sound with you again.

I'm relieved they got in touch with you and told you. I'm relieved that he is back with you forever.
But my goodness I would like to give them a slap, that poor poor boy.
Ok I know there can always be unforseen circumstances, but because they only have 1 car and to be in that state. just no excuse.
Please give him a hug from me.
