My mother....!

Got home from training at 9pm to be greeted by my mother....

She fell over (5 mins after I left home) in the little paddock, over a tuft of grass onto the concrete and has fractured her elbow

Luckily she picked herself up and pulled her arm back into the right position before she thought about it and so no longer has a dislocated fractured elbow....just a fracture!

A friend was coming over to pick up her dog so she took her to A&E where they have patched her up and given her some pain killers. It could have been so much worse its quite frightening really to think about what could have happened....

But it is a case of be careful what you wish for....she had jsut been saying today how nice it weas not to have the car (its been in for a service)...and now she can't go anywwhere....what with her and My gran having had a cataract op at the beginning of the week....at least one of us is still mobile! (fingers crossed it stays that way!)

Your poor mum, it sounds sore. Hope she is on the mend soon
