CKC Malamute

Suki is a female 18 mo old grey and white malamute. She is VERY active and wants to play! Suki does best with other dogs. I have to find her a loving home because my job gets in the way of raising her properly. She is a love and I have spoiled her. Strikingly beautiful, she will melt your heart. She is not nuetered; I was going to breed her.

Hello Andrea, please note this is primarily a UK based site so you may have difficulty finding a home for your dog here.

I would contact your nearest breed rescue in the USA.

Have you tried contacting her breeder to see if they will have her back?

If not you can try this Rescue group:

Alaskan Malamute Rescue Of New England, Inc
Address: Joanne Duval

The CKC will be referring to either the Continental Kennel Club (similar to our DLRC except for the fact you have to have two people to witness the dog to say they are purebred - or that is what it used to be anyway) or the Canadian Kennel Club (given that Mass isn't too far from Canada).

Hi Thanks for the info, I did call the breeder, she doesn't want her, she had 2 others from the litter returned. I feel bad, I love her but I can't afford the destruction!

Oh that's terrible. Have you contacted the breed rescue? If you decided to rehome her privately could I recommend you have her spayed. Otherwise she may be the victim of someone wanting to use her as a puppy machine, rather than a loving pet or working home.

Yes, I am going to be selective in placing her. I wanted to breed her once, but have changed my mind.

Please get her neutered before you re-home her, no matter how selective you are you can't 100% guarantee she won't be bred from at some point.
Good luck in finding her a good home.
