Drowned bully

Does anyone remember the poor bully who was found in the river with a concrete block tied around her neck some time ago-
well just to update

here is a message about whats happening

*Shadow was the name of the Bull Terrier who was murdered by having a concrete block tied around her neck and thrown into a river. She had a slow painful death by strangulation from the weight of the block. She was about seven years old and had recently had a litter.

The SSPCA know who did this terrible thing, but they need a little more information to take it before the Procurator Fiscal, so that the person who did this can be charged. There are witnesses or persons with information and we need to persuade these people to come forward and give their evidence. We hope that the pledge of a substantial reward (especially just before Christmas) will bring these people forward.

I don't want your money now, all I want is a promise (a pledge) of an amount you are willing to give (however small - it all adds up), and I will let you know when and where to send the money if we are successful. Perhaps you could consider getting together with friends to pledge between you.

Lel, if its the same incident, it happened near where my auntie lives a while back, at the time it happened she showed me a newspaper article that actually had a picture of the dog because they thought it may bring more people forward and although hard hitting may actually shock people into doing something. If its the same incident it happened in the Dumbarton area (my aunts in Balloch) infact it must be because it was obvious from the picture that the dog was in or recently had pups. I felt sick when I saw it it really makes you mad.

I remember they raised quite a bit from locals too one person donated over £200 I will happily give as much as I can afford. Terrible shame.
