There you go Carole. Star is growing up. She has received a few warnings, been in a few disputes, and now she is realising the more appropriate way to approach strange dogs.
Just watch to make sure that Star, & any other dog that she does not know, are relaxed & comfortable with each other before you let them play off lead. Keep leads loose, allow sniffing, etc. &, if all is well, let them go and have fun. Keep an eye on body language & be prepared to step in if anything untoward seems likely to happen.
If Star is displaying submissive behaviour she is unlikely to start anything, but, if she is at all frightened by another dog & pushed beyond her tolerance or put in a no-flight position, she may well become defensive, so watch for this.
On the whole, I don't think you have much to worry about. Just take sensible precautions & keep an eye on your dog.
