OH just phoned - Hoki is staying at vets tonight but he will pick her up tomorrow & we'll find out what the vet says then.

i thought they would keep her in i was gutted when i couldn't have my girly back the same day but i suppose it is better for them to have at least 24 hours cage rest

Glad to hear the op went well - that must be a relief.

I don't know about healing time for a cruciate ligament problem, but my boyfriend's working collie recently broke his leg. It has been pinned and the vet has said he will need around 2 months rest. I would suggest having a chat with your vet just to be on the safe side.
