What does your dog do to make you feel better?

After a conversation with someone else, I thought I'd post this.

When I'm upset or poorly, Eddy comes up for a cuddle, but I think really it's just an excuse to get on the sofa (he always comes for a cuddle).

Takara though, jokes around trying to make me laugh, she often brings me all her toys too, particularly a ball (well playing with her should make me feel better shouldn't it?) or gives me one or two of her bones to make me feel better

Is your dog sensitive? What do they do to make you feel better or could they not give a damn?

Hollie will plonk her head on me and just looks at me, then licks my hand and shoves her head under my hand for a stroke!

Sammie snuggles in for a stroke and cuddle, whereas Angel, plonks herself on me, pretty much pinning me and drowns me with kisses, wee darlings

Fudge gets really restless if the kids are upset and often goes and tries to lick away the tears. Of course on a sceptical note it might just be she likes that salty taste...LOL

Max will either:
a) rest his head on me and drool...
b) bring me a toy and plonk it on my lap and nudge it with his head until I play

Mind you, I was chopping onions yesterday, and ended up crying a bit and wiping my eyes with the tea towel. I must have made a "crying" noise, as Max came over. I thought "aw, he's come to make me better", but the little so-and-so nicked the tea towel out of my hands and ran off
