Homing Requirements: Billy is looking for a large dog experienced family to engage his intelligence and support him through a training programme so he learns to listen and relate to his owner as he comes through in life. Keen on seeing cats outside and would chase. Billy could live with a competent other dog or as an only dog. Billy so needs a chance!

His Story: Billy grew up in a house with his litter brother Azure. They spent most of their time in an adjacent 'work yard'. They managed to jump out and go walkabouts on several occasions. Their 'owner' reclaimed them except the last time. Billy was kennelled with Azure but no home has come in over 8 months so we are now looking to home them separately. Their plight has become urgent. Billy was neutered, chipped and vaccinated. Currently kennelled near Godstone, Surrey.

Advert: Billy is a large amenable gentle dog. He has always welcomed people and delights in company. Billy needs training in lead walking and is easily walked on a waist-lead. Billy is very alert on his walks and 'keen' on cats / he would be curious ref livestock too. He needs more exposure to life. Billy settles on a car journey and is appreciative of any attention and very loving.

Billy is 3 years old with a thick Shepherd type coat which needs daily brushing which he loves! Billy needs a secure garden with at least 6' panel fences. He will need to be given time to settle to find himself and patience if he needs to regain house training. Billy has so much going for him and is safe in public meeting other dogs, people and children. Billy will delight in his new family life … afterall he has waited all his life!

Please note that these dogs is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.
