Game of Thrones , Dog Question

Just watched episode two, now obviously NIDs come in various shapes, sizes, colours and markings. The dog that attacks and kills the 'hitman' is that a NID or a NID x?

not seen it but as an aside, a well know breeder of BSDs once got on their soapbox about the use of two Malinois in an episode of Lewis. One of them was a GSD, (I know the dogs and their owners well), so all is not always want it appears...............

"All of the dogs we received were from rescues and some from private parties that felt that they couldn't deal with the dogs anymore, because they were rambunctious big dogs," said Warren.
