GWF Nutrition - Anyone use their products?

In particular the GWF Nutrition joint aid for dogs

Was taken to the cleaners recently by ordering a Glucosamine joint supplement for Rianna through our vets. They sold me SYNOQUIN EFA which came out at £1.65 per day.

I have found GWF Nutrition who are based in Melkasham, Wiltshire who do a joint aid for dogs at 39 pence per day, quite a difference.

If anyone uses GWF then I would be interested in your experience.

Also other reputable suppliers of joint supplements (with Glucosamine)

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I knew you'd be clued up on this, I will check out Yu Move as well.

Mind you, I am expecting Rianna to be dancing around like a two year old considering what I paid for those SYNOQUIN tablets

Look interesting and I found Animed who sell them and only ten miles from me at Eye in Suffolk, I could go down and have a chat with them.

SWMBO might not like them since they are made in USA and so not subject to the British Veterinary College rules

I had a look at the GWF stuff and saw it was £70 odd for 2kg, then I found 2kg on Amazon for £50 odd, it worked out cheaper getting 2 x 1kg and free delivery. I have never heard a bad report about Yu Move yet, my vets recommend it as well in their newsletter they publish, they did an article about older pets and Yu Move was mentioned as being the best thing to use for stiff joints and lameness due to arthritis. From memory if you shop around I think my friend gets 300 tablets for £37, not sure which site she gets it from, one of these animal med sites anyway.

I use Yu Move for Roxy (approaching 9 years of age - very active border collie cross) and she does very well on them.
I get them from VioVet - current cost £34.25 for 300 chewable tablets with free delivery

Yes, they seem to be on sale via several places, at the moment we have the gold plated ones from our vet (60 days) and two samples from GWF (another 60 days) so I think I'll order some and just snowpake over the country of origin 'tis truly wonderful what you can do with snowpake

Much obliged Susannah, I haven't searched for VioVet yet but will do so just so I know I'm getting best deal, still sore from the price of our vet supplied ones. Yes I could have refused it but I did make the mistake of asking them to get something in for me, once bitten twice shy as they say

Just had a look at VioVet and must say that their web site is (thank God) easy to move around and to see everything unlike so many sites which are just so 'cluttered' and badly laid out.

Plus the story of Luke Cousins is one which should be encouraged and sadly we hear far too little of in the UK.

Not sure if this really is to do with diet and nutrition but, catrinsparkles Dog Health 13 13-04-2008 08:33 PM
