I wouldnt care if my dog had rotten gums, manky hips, or the feet of a platipus i'd still love him the same, real dog lovers accept their pet's no matter what they look like.

don't mean to offend you pet-village, but I do think you WOULD care if you pet had these problems.... problems and diseases hereditary or not can cause suffering and led to a shortened life. Surely you would agree that we all just want our beolved animals to live a LONG and HEALTHY life with no problems. I know that this is unlikely - we all gotta die of something - but breeding for a trait, or not testing for a disease or problem beofre breeding - that just sucks.
