It's better than not having any documentation with your name onit.

If you take on a re home, having kc papers in your name rather than previous owners , is going to help proof of ownership.

Its somewhere to start on.

And that's why I would pay to re register in my name.

Yes I was going to say a receipt for purchase of the dog and also microchipped to your name and address. I don't think a KC registration form would override those.
