Marco the Portuguese Water Dog

We've had him 1 week as of this morning.

Here's a >link< to all the pics I've taken of him so far, but below are my favourites. Click the pictures if you want to see them in higher quality and larger. I will add more to this thread as I take them, and if they are good enough.

Feeling Tasty!

Look into my eyes, look into my eyes, the eyes, the eyes, not around the eyes, don't look around my eyes, look into my eyes, you're under.

Oh aye? Go on then, I dare you...

I can see... honest!

Am I the only one who wonders how they do manage to see well enough under all that? Maybe that's why he seems a bit clumsy. hehe

The only thing we can really get him to play with so far. Well that and a rawhide bone if he's in the mood.

Apparently PWD are quiet famous for doing this.

Hope you enjoyed

David

Thanks for the comments, I'm still working on how to get good pics of him.

Taking pics of a black dog is difficult as it is, lack of contrast, but even more so with him being so hairy and it often covering his eyes.

I think he needs a proper trim, retriever clip, as it's a bit haphazard at the mo.
