Dogs jumping up is a major bug bear of mine. Jed does it to other people and it's a habit of his I intensely dislike. Ok, I might be wearing my scruffy clothes when i'm out with the dogs but I dont want muddy paw prints all over me and I dont want to be jabbed in the guts or have my legs scratched by paws and claws which should be on the floor.

I'm a firm believer that all four of the dogs feet should remain firmly on the floor. That means no jumping up, no countersurfing and no getting on any furniture.
