OK ALL- THIS IS MY ONLY CLAIM TO FAME....

I originally come from Wimbledon and was a wimbledon ball girl during 1994 and 1995. Was offically called a net girl as i was a short **** and therefore had the honour (** cough cough**) of getting severe cramp crouched down at the net all day.

Was a fantastic experince though. Was when i was at high school and the local schools could nominate sporting achievers to take part. (you wouldn't believe that now if you saw me!)

I was on court number one so had some really good matches. Sampras and Henman were my favourites.

Don't know if you remember Tim getting disqualified when he smacked a ball girl in the head with a ball, well guess who that poor girl was!!!!

ha ha ha ha - well don't worry i'm not exactly an avid tennis fan- was just a really good experience at the time. I have still got my ball girl outfit from all those years ago.... if only i could still fit in it!! lol!!
