Karen is on her way to bring him home.Theyhave diagnosed something called" radial nerve palsy" but know no more than that at present.

I am sure Karen/Phil will update on their return at some point.

Good news!

Perhaps it's like Bells Palsy? I've no idea. Hope the movement and feeling in his arm returns soon though, whatever!

The bone on the thumb side of the wrist is the Radius so it sounds like a paralysis of the nerve that follows/is associated with that bone/area.
I hope, like Bells Palsey, it soon recovers.

Ok, I am sure they won't mind me updating.

The radial nerve runs from the neck down the arm and they think this is what is being trapped somehow. They won't know more until further tests have taken place this week.He is home though and it was great to hear from him.
