Best puppy in Match!

We went to our monthly match at ringcraft last night with our 10 month old pup.

We got drawn against a gorgeous 2 year old Rottie in the first round. The judge deliberated for what seemed like ages before choosing the Rottie, but she then came up to me and said it was a really tough choice, but the Rottie was just more mature. Was happy with that decision, especially as the Rottie went on to win best in match.

However, we won best 1st round loser against 10 dogs, and later won best puppy in match

We won 2 rosettes, plus a plaque for best 1st round loser, and a cup for best puppy (held until next month's match). Madame however was far more impressed with the bag of dog treats which we won in the raffle

I have only been showing since May, and it's a breed which requires a LOT of grooming, which I am also still learning, so I was very proud of her (and me! )
